You immediately see what it's about. But what exactly is the question? The most populated cities? The capitals? Of the world, or of Asia? All four interpretations are valid, and only one is correct.

What's the Question? is a trivia game that works in reverse. The answer is right in front of you from the very first second—it's the question itself that's missing. You're not looking for what you already know, but for what connects what you see.

HOW TO PLAY Three answers appear. At the bottom of the screen, a bag of sentence fragments: words, sometimes entire phrases like "most" or "of the world." Place them in order, then submit.

You don't know how many you need. That's part of the puzzle.

A mistake costs nothing: attempts are free and unlimited.

THE EXTRA ANSWER THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING When two questions remain possible, reveal an additional answer: this is the one that will decide the answer. Faced with Tokyo, Delhi, and Shanghai, you hesitate between cities and capitals—until Shanghai appears and "capitals" is revealed.

Revealing isn't about getting help. It's the tool of deduction, and the heart of the game. The price increases each time, so each revelation is a deliberate choice.

THREE CLUES, IN ORDER Stuck? Three hints, always in the same order, never imposed.

1. The number of words—the spaces appear, and you finally know how many words make up the sentence.

2. Freeze the correct words—your next attempt is corrected word by word: what's in its place stays, in gold, and the rest goes back in the bag.

3. Remove the odd ones out—all the tiles that don't fit into any correct wording disappear. This is the last resort, and it comes at a price.

MULTIPLE FORMS ARE ACCEPTED "What is the longest river in the world?" "Which river is the longest in the world?"

"Which river in the world is the longest?"

All three say the same thing, and the game accepts all three.

100 QUESTIONS, TEN MIXED THEMES Five packs of twenty questions. The packs are not thematic: each mixes the ten themes of the game—geography, history, science, music, cinema, arts, sports, gastronomy, nature, and daily life. Each question is color-coded according to its theme, and the screen of a pack reads like a mosaic.
